About the New York Going Green Expo
Being green is a state of mind, a desire for a better quality of life, not just for us, but for our children and for generations to come. Most people can’t rush out and build a new green home, buy a new hybrid or ride a bike to work every day. The New York Going Green Expo is about making small changes in our daily lives that, when multiplied by hundreds, thousands or millions of people can have a dramatic effect. The theme of this event is “what’s your one thing?” Our goal is to offer every attendee at least one thing that they can implement into their daily lives that makes an impact.
Why get green?
Green is good for America. Green is good for Central New York. Green is good for business. We must choose to be more self sufficient and independent as a country and community. Going green supports local efforts in a nationwide challenge. More and more people are awakening to the reality that we must leave our planet and this country the way it was given to us, at the very least. Many people every day are making purchasing decisions based on those beliefs. Are you prepared to work with them?
Green is growing and it is here to stay.
Getting green is not a fad or a trend that is going away. It’s not just about clean air, clean water, reducing pollution and recycling. Going green is a quality of life choice. Getting green is an obligation that we as a community all bear.
